Kaiapoi Garden Competition 2024
Friday, 26 January
The annual Kaiapoi Garden competition will be held on Friday 26th January 2024. All Together Kaiapoi cordially invites you, your family, neighbours and friends to enter in one of the categories listed below:
- Walk Around – The entire garden to be judged
- View From The Street – Judges view garden without entering
- Town House
- Garden Under 3 Years
- Structured Landscape – Built features combine with plant selection
- Community Pride – Individual gardeners or groups who present a garden outside their boundary for others to enjoy
- Commercial – Business premises
- Sustainability – Used sustainable practices e.g. composting, no sprays etc
- Best Vegetable Garden
A trophy, plus a certificate will be awarded to the winner of each category. 2nd and 3rd placing will receive a certificate. There is also a Supreme Garden Award which will be awarded to the garden that receives the most points overall in any of the categories above.
Please note:
- Entry is free
- You may enter in one category only
- You are not eligible to enter a category if you won that category in 2023
The name(s) on the entry form will be the names) utilised on any awards
